First Fridays with ALF Senior Fellows
Connect • Reflect • Renew
Please join Michelle Douglas, CEO of Emergency Food Network and ALF Class 18 Senior Fellow, to discuss one of the fundamental social justice issues of our time, HUNGER in our communities. The conversation will focus on the fast-rising need, the impact of federal cuts, and food availably to the emergency food system, the local food network in Pierce County. We’ll also explore how you can become an advocate for Hunger Relief in your community.
On the first Friday of each month, Senior Fellows are invited to gather for an informal time of connection and community. These gatherings are meant to keep our ALF spirit alive—offering space to:
-
Reconnect with Fellows across cohorts
-
Share stories, updates, and encouragement
-
Build new cross-sector relationships
-
Pause, reflect, and recharge together
No agenda, no pressure—just authentic conversation and community. Whether you stop by for a quick hello or stay the whole time, you’re part of keeping ALF’s leadership network vibrant and connected.
📅 Next First Friday: 7:30-8:45 a.m.
