First Friday

Building on the youth/young adult programming in October and November that focused on mental health and unhoused/housing insecurity of youth/young adults in Tacoma Public Schools, the December First Friday will explore the youth/young adult juvenile justice system in our county.  Please join Judge Sabrina Ahrens (Presiding Judge of Juvenile Court, Class XXVIII, and ALF Board of Directors) and Retired Judge Kitty-Ann van Doorninck (Retired, Family Court Judge, Class VIII, and Selection Committee) to learn about the types of cases they are seeing and the impacts of the system on youth/young adults and their families.

No cost to attend, no registration requested.  Food and drink will be available for purchase.
