Common Experience...Different Perspectives
Our 2018 ALF retreat will take place, quite literally, in our own back yard. Participants will have the opportunity to see, feel, hear, smell and even taste our unique urban setting in ways often missed as we work our way through the demands of our daily routines. We will take a one to two hour walking tour to connect to and experience our common environment from different perspectives and, with ALF cornerstones to guide us, reflect on, share and embrace these differences.
Our day will include:
A group check-in to appropriately prepare us for our journey.
A shared urban experience (one to two hour walk in our community) presented from multiple viewpoints.
A facilitated discussion to share and learn from our experiences.
A day-end social hour for further discussion and fellowship.
Your registration fee of $99.00 includes a light breakfast, lunch, a hosted social hour, your urban walking experience and all group facilitation and other programming.
No-host small-group dinners will be available as well as a block of rooms at Hotel Murano for those wishing to extend this special day. More information about the dinners and hotel accommodations will be provided after you have registered.
Scholarships are available to Senior Fellows wanting to attend, but not able to pay the full registration fee.
