One important strength of ALF is the network it creates between people who might otherwise never have had the opportunity to come together. This network can then be activated in many different ways for the common good.
The ALF website and directory are important tools in activating the network In addition to being used to conduct ALF business and for general social communication between members, they can be used to share information, raise issues, or identify concerns.
All Senior Fellows are encouraged to keep their contact information and areas of interest, expertise and network group preferences updated in their online profile forms. To do so, choose "Edit my profile" from the For Fellows and Senior Fellows menu.
To most effectively use the network, please use the following information as a reference:
a. Within the password-protected members section of the website, email individual ALF members, classes, committees, Cornerstone groups or networks. Using the advanced search feature you can also create custom email lists to stay in touch with any group of Senior Fellows.
b. Publicize community events by placing them on the Community Calendar. Post your event yourself by choosing "Add a Community Event" from the Get Involved tab.
ALF does not endorse political candidates or specific issues.
